Award-Winning Kids Yoga DVD: Storyland Yoga - Review & Giveaway - Ends 6/08

I have 5 grandchildren ages newborn to 4 and with all the news about kids here in the USA being obese really concerns me. I see many children around the age of 5 and up that just do not look healthy. Alot of it has to do with lack of exercise ( too many video games etc. ) kids just do not get out and do much these days. I am a firm believer that kids who exercise in some way at a young age will continue these healthy habits throughout life. When i saw this dvd up for review I thought, awesome!! this is perfect for my two oldest grandchildren to start doing.

When I first started the DVD my 4 year old granddaughter was sooo ready!! she had on her little t-shirt and leggings and said "I am going to work out" LOL too cute! As for the 3 year old well....he was not as excited, in fact he wanted to watch cartoons. He decided he was going to just watch his cousin instead.

I received a copy of this award winning DVD Yoga for kids and I was so excited. Yoga helps relieve stress and calms the mind. not to mention it is a wonderful break from TV, video games, etc.
Playful planet was created  by a mom to empower children with fun and engaging activities. These programs offer fun filled adventures. There are two stories on the DVD. First one is Condor trek which turned out to be my granddaughters favorite! It is full of imagination through storytelling. Pretty clever.
Within the first 5 minutes I had noticed that my grandson was starting to interact as well.

Certified Children's yoga instructor (Ahmed Fahmy) has created a unique approach to yoga that engages children and connects them to nature through imaginative  storytelling. Even had me engaged :) I find this DVD  to be an excellent alternative to cartoons (especially the ones I have seen on TV)
Storyland Yoga can be found at a reasonable price right now on Amazon for only $14.99!! But hold on!! One lucky reader will win their very own copy!!  right here :)

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
